Thursday Night Bouldering (TNB) is a friendly competition hosted by Climb On, designed for the "Everyday Climber." Launched in 2007, TNB was created as a fun, low-pressure event for all levels of climbers, separate from more serious competitions like USA Climbing and ABS events.

The competition features approximately 50 boulder problems, ranging from V0 to V9+, and climbers are placed into categories based on their skill level:

Recreational Division: V0-V3
Intermediate Division: V4-V6
Open Division: V7-V9+

Routes are assigned point values that increase with difficulty, but the grade isn't labeled, adding an element of surprise and strategy. Climbers earn points by completing routes, with points deducted for multiple attempts. The event lasts for two hours, and your final score is based on your 5 highest-scoring climbs. You can choose to complete just 5 routes or challenge yourself to tackle as many as possible!
